With the release of OMA’s 2022-2027 Strategic Plan, we are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic candidates to help us put this plan into action as members of our board.

OMA board members help steer to direction of the organization, aid staff in serving our members, ensure the health and sustainability of the organization, and implement OMA’s mission of connecting, educating, empowering and advocating for the Ohio museum community!

We welcome diverse areas of expertise, life experience, museum type, and work experience beyond management, including early career and non-executive museum professionals – examples include education, programming, front-line staff and visitor services, human resources – just to name a small few.

As a statewide organization, we welcome nominations from across the state – especially from museum professionals in the Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest parts of Ohio.
