Changes to OMA's Job Board Policy - Coming September 1, 2018

As part of the Ohio Museums Association’s mission to connect, educate, empower and advocate for the Ohio museum community, the OMA online job board has been a valuable resource for those looking for a new museum career, and for organizations looking for dedicated new staff members.

 
Following best practices in our field, the Ohio Museums Association will be making changes to how our job board posts are listed – enhancing this service to better meet the needs of those searching for and posting Ohio museum jobs.
 
Starting September 1, 2018, OMA will be requiring all organizations posting a position on our job board to include a salary range for the listing, as well as the employment classification (part-time, full-time, hourly, salary, etc.).

 

Posting on the OMA job board is always free to OMA members.

Starting September 1, 2018, the price for non-members to post on the OMA job board will increase to $25 per listing.
 
We hope these changes help both employers and job seekers have a clearer picture of prospective job offers, and inspire more open dialogue about compensation.
