Join us for the May #OHMuseumChat!

The Ohio Museums Association (@OhioMuseums)  is proud to present our May ‪#‎OHMuseumChat - Thursday, May 19 at noon on Twitter!

In conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Month, this month our topic is "Mental Health First Aid."

Joining us will be Maureen Traverse, Education Manager at Mental Health America of Ohio - @MHAOhio; Mindy Galik, Director of Visitor Experience and Safety at the Columbus Museum of Art - @ColumbusMuseum, and museum professionals from across the state.

So what exactly is a twitter chat?

A twitter chat is a live event focused around a single conversation hashtag - in our case, #OHMuseumChat. Our chat will use twitter as a means to connect museum professionals across Ohio (and perhaps, beyond!) for a relaxed and informal discussion on whatever our monthly topic is - which, for May is Mental Health First Aid."

Participating is easy!

All you need to do to participate in the #OHMuseumChat is log on to twitter by noon on Thursday, May 19 and search #OHMuseumChat. Then, you can join the conversation by adding #OHMuseumChat to your tweets! It's that simple!

As this month's chat is focused on Mental Health, we encourage you to bring your questions and ideas! Take advantage of the expertise and experience of our panelists, and learn more about this topic.
