The Ohio Museums Association (@OhioMuseums) is proud to present our February #OHMuseumChat - Thursday, February 15 at noon on Twitter!
Joining us will be special guests Stephanie Petcavage from ICA - Art Conservation - @icaconservation, Susan Barger from Connecting to Collections Online Care Community - @C2Ccare, Jessica Cyders from the Southeastern Ohio History Center - @athenscohistory and other museum professionals from across the state!
This month, our topic is "Collections Care on a Budget."
Haven't participated in one of our #OHMuseumChat's before? No problem! It's easy to join the conversation!
So what exactly is a twitter chat?
A twitter chat is a live event focused around a single conversation hashtag - in our case, #OHMuseumChat. Our chat will use twitter as a means to connect museum professionals across Ohio (and perhaps, beyond!) for a relaxed and informal discussion on whatever our monthly topic is - which, for February is "Collections Care on a Budget."
Participating is easy!
All you need to do to participate in the #OHMuseumChat is log on to twitter by noon on Thursday, February 15 and search #OHMuseumChat. Then, you can join the conversation by adding #OHMuseumChat to your tweets! It's that simple!
As this month's chat is focused on collections care, we encourage you to bring your questions for our expert guest panelists! Take advantage of their expertise, get input from peers across the state and learn more about this topic!
Be sure to follow OMA on twitter - @OhioMuseums for all the latest updates from the Ohio Museums Association, and don't forget to follow #OHMuseumChat for the full February discussion as it happens.
Bring your ideas, questions and best practices for a lively and inspiring conversation with colleagues from across the state to the #OHMuseumChat, Thursday, February 15 at noon! We hope you can join us!
