Ohio Community Foundations - COVID-19 Responses and Resources

In response to COVID-19, many organizations and companies are offering emergency funds and other resources to help nonprofits in their communities impacted by the Coronavirus.

Akron Community Foundation

The Akron Community Foundation has created the Community Response Fund to help address the needs that may arise in Summit and Medina counties related to the COVID-19 outbreak. Learn more here.

Barberton Community Foundation

The Barberton Community Foundation has established an Emergency Response Fund to provide financial assistance to nonprofits responding to the broader social impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community. Learn more here.

Columbus Foundation

The Columbus Foundation has activated its Emergency Response Funds to assist organizations that are responding to the spread of COVID-19 and experiencing financial challenges by doing so. Learn more here.

Dayton Foundation

The Dayton Foundation and the United Way of the Greater Dayton Area have established a COVID-19 Response Fund which will help provide flexible resources to nonprofits that are at the frontlines of the COVID-19 response. Learn more here.

Foundation for Appalachian Ohio

The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio has released their Emergency Response Fund to help nonprofits whose resources are, and will continue to be, strained over COVID-19 response. Learn more here.

Greater Toledo Community Foundation

The Greater Toledo Community Foundation has established a COVID-19 Response Fund to support northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan nonprofit organizations as they assist in responding to the spread of COVID-19. Learn more here.

The Knox County Foundation is offering Non-Profit Emergency Funding to nonprofits providing essential services. Learn more here.

Middletown Community Foundation

The Middletown Community Foundation, serving Franklin, Madison, Middletown, Monroe and Trenton will establish a Coronavirus Emergency Fund to provide grants to area nonprofits helping individuals and families adversely effected by the Coronavirus crisis. Learn more here.

The Muskingum County Community Foundation has established the Community Cares Fund to support the urgent needs in their area during emergency situations. Learn more here

Stark Community Foundation

Sisters of Charity Foundation of Canton, Stark Community Foundation and other local funders have joined forces to collectively respond to the needs of area organizations affected by COVID-19 in Stark County. Learn more here.

Troy Foundation
